George Robert "Bob" Flood, Sr. passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 in Borger.
He was born August 12, 1933 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Thomas Jefferson and Susan Malinda (Kilpatrick) Flood.
He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. He was a general contractor and was "Mr. Fixer- Upper". He enjoyed going to garage sales, feeding the birds and squirrels, and loved to fish and hunt.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lois, who passed in 2010.
He is survived by 3 sons: Thomas and wife Lisa Flood of Dumas, Texas, George Robert ,Jr and wife Laura Flood of Witchita, Kansas and Robert Killingsworth of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Richard and wife Opaline Flood of Borger, Texas; 2 sisters: Eleanor Carr of Amarillo, Texas and Betty Harkins of Lubbock, Texas; 5 grandchildren: Ashley Lance of Amarillo, Texas, Lindsay Schardt and husband Scott of Dallas, Texas, Lauren Reid and husband Scott of Dallas, Texas, Thomas Flood, Jr. and wife Amanda of Billings, Montana and Jeremy Flood of McMinnville, Oregon; 4 great grandchildren: Aleia Lance of Amarillo, Texas, Henry Schardt of Dallas, Texas, Hattie Schardt of Dallas, Texas, Milly Reid of Dallas, Texas and Elona Flood of Billings, Montana.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Riverview Baptist Church, Borger. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger.
Mr. Flood will lie in state at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains on Sunday, May 1, from 1:00pm-6:00pm and Monday, May 2, from 8:00am - 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requested donations be made to the American Heart Association, 6605 I-40 Frontage Rd, Amarillo, TX 79106.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.

BORGER - Lois Flood, 80, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Riverview Baptist Church in Borger. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Flood was born Aug. 31, 1929, in Plainview to Lewis and Anna Mae Wimberly. She worked as an office administrator in the oil field business.
Survivors include her husband, George Robert "Bob" Flood Sr.; three sons, Robert Killingsworth of Dallas, Tom Flood of Dumas and Bob Flood Jr. of Wichita, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Parkinson Research Foundation, P.O. Box 20256, Sarasota, FL 34276.
