BORGER - Funeral services for William A. Gallentine, 77, former dairyman here, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Church here.
The Rev. Bob Brant, pastor of the Stinnett Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Simpson Funeral Home.
Mr. Gallentine died Tuesday in the Mennonite Hospital in La Junta, Colo.
Born in Greensburg, Ind., he came to Borger in 1926. He operated the Borger Dairy until 1946, when he moved to Colorado.
Survivors include his wife, Kathe; a son, Charles of La Junta; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Dyer, address unavailable; three brothers, Dave, Homer and John, addresses unavailable; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Kate A. Gallentine, 90, of La Junta, Colo., died Dec. 23 in LaJunta.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Alexander Chapel of Memories.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors.
A native of Weatherford, Okla., she lived in Borger from 1926 to 1945 prior to moving to La Junta.
She and her husband, Arthur, operated the Borger Dairy while in Borger. He preceded her in death, Dec. 23, 1969.
Survivors include one son, Charles, of La Junta; one grandson, Tom Page of Garland; and one nephew, Jim Gallentine of Sanford.
