Borger News Herald - January 3, 1980
June Garrett, 58, of 807 Latimer, died at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.
Mr. Garrett was owner of June Garrett Motor Co. and a former employee of Bob Bradshaw Motor Co. He as a native of Hopkins County and a Hutchinson County resident for 38 years.
He was a veteran of World War II Army Air Corps.
Survivors include his wife Maybelle; a son Robert of Lubbock; four brothers, Jack of Houston, Buddy of Hollis, Okla., and Bill and Dean, both of Borger; four sisters, Altha Mitchell of Borger; Christine Darnell of Long Beach, Calif.; Lois Neeper of Pueblo, Colo.; and Gladys Price of Sulphur Springs.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson Park Church of Christ, with Mrs. Charles Kymes, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
