Borger News Herald - February 18, 1973

Funeral service for Mrs. Arminta (Maggie) Garrett, 73, of 304 Monroe St., are pending at Ed Brown and Sons Chapel of the Fountains.

Mrs. Garrett was a resident of the area since 1927. She died at 10 a.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital.

A member of Calvary Baptist Church, she was a long time member of Borger Rebekah Lodge 285; Order of Eastern Star Chapter 811; and Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Roy V. Denton, Bartlesville; Mrs. Sterling L. Dobbs, Pattersonville, N.Y.; two brothers, W.A. Eller of Borger, J.E. Eller of Dewey, Okla.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for Mrs. Arminta "Maggie" Garrett, 73, of 304 Monroe, were at 3 p.m. today from Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Orel Speed, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment followed in Highland Park Cemetery.
