BORGER - Marion "Rachel" Gibbs, 89, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tunis Schurman of Borger and the Rev. A.F. Casey of Fritch, officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Garden at Highland Park Cemetery.
Mr. Gibbs was born in Ranger. He was a retired tool pusher for B&C Well Service Co.
Survivors include four sons, Don Gibbs of Fritch, Kin Gibbs of Canyon, Jerry Gibbs of Red Oak and Melvin Gibbs of Burleson; three daughters, Sandra Joslin of Borger, Annette Brooks of Fritch and Wanda Melvin of Ashdown, Ark.; a brother, Henry Gibbs of Ranger; a sister, Ruth Jordan of California; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Reba Earl Gibbs, 79, Borger, were at 2 p.m. today at Gateway Baptist Church with the Rev. Tunis Schuurman, pastor, and the Rev. A.F. Casey, pastor of Fritch First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
She died at 2:51 p.m. Friday in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A native of Waxahachie, she had been a Borger resident since 1942.
Mrs. Gibbs was a homemaker and a member of Gateway Baptist Church.
She married Marion Gibbs July 16, 1932 in Ranger.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Kin Butch Gibbs of Canyon, Don Gibbs of Fritch, Jerry Gibbs of Red Oak, Melvin Gibbs of Tatum; three daughters, Annette Brooks of Fritch, Wanda Melvin of Ashdown, Ark., Sandra Joslin of Borger; 23 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Casketbearers were Josh Joslin, Charlie Mahaffey, Darryl Gibbs, Larry Gibbs, Kinney Gibbs, and Bobby Mahaffey.
