Borger News Herald - January 6, 1958
Mrs. Laura Frances Gill, long-time resident of Spearman who moved here several weeks ago, died Sunday night in North Plains Hospital. She was 82 years old. Mrs. Gill resided here at 1207 Roberts.
Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church of Borger with the pastor, Rev. H. H. Woods, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown, Funeral Director.
Survivors include her husband, I.N. Gill of the home; four daughters, Mrs. O.D. Parker of Plainview, Mrs. Stella Robbins of El Reno, Oklahoma, Mrs. C.C. Hughes of Spearman and Mrs. S.V. Simpson of Borger; a son, J.W. Gill of Phillips; a brother, Robert Brooks, Batesville, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Wright of Batesville, Arkansas and Mrs. Emma Martin, Erick, Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
