James A. Gillespie, 83, died Saturday in Los Angeles. He is a former Borger resident. Survivors include one son Henry of Los Angeles. Funeral services are pending at the Minton Mortuary in Borger.

Graveside services for James A. Gillespie, 83, former Borger resident, who died in Los Angeles, Calif., are scheduled at 2 p.m. at Highland Park Cemetery.

The Rev. John Rakestraw, Wesley Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

A long-time Hutchinson County resident, Mrs. J.A. (Ethel) Gillespie, 65, died at the North Plains Hospital at 4 p.m. yesterday, following a three-week illness.

Mrs. Gillespie is survived by her husband, of 1104 Andress, and a son, H.F., of Los Angeles.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Wesley Methodist church with the Rev. Newton Starnes officiating. Burial will be in the local cemetery, under the direction of Minton Funeral Home.
