*Obituary
BORGER - Mrs. Versie Mae Hoodenpyle, 79, died Sunday in Odessa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Albritton, pastor of Journey Street Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Hoodenpyle was a native of Glendale and had been a longtime resident of Borger before moving to Odessa six years ago.
Survivors include one son, Bill Curry of Amarillo; one daughter Miss Bobby Curry of the home; three brothers, Riley Hicks of Tyler, Buel Hicks of Marshall, and Lee Hicks of Glendale; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
