Foster child of Sally & Arvin L Phillips
David Kyle Hughes, 8, of No. 1 Rice St. in Phillips, died Monday at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
David was born July 3, 1970, in Spearman. He had been a lifetime resident of Phillips.
Survivors include his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvin L. Phillips of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Jenny Brown of Gage, Okla.; and Mrs. Liz Hendrickson and Mrs. Ruth Wilson, both of Borger; grandparents Mrs. and Mrs. Burle Newland, Blackwell, Okla. and Mrs. and Mrs. Harvey Briston, Rockport.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Bill Ray, pastor, officiating.
Pallbearers will be C.F. Lilley, Emery Neff, Wayne Neff, Norman Little, and Steve Ray.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
