Cinderella CLARK PLASTER

Petree Cemetery
Walker County,
Texas

Cinderella Clark Plaster was born on August 8, 1879 to Thomas "Tom" Jefferson Clark (1853-1927) & Fannie Young.

In 1898, she married Henry Homer Plaster and eight children were produced from this union. Mr. Plaster died in 1938. Cinderella remarried at some point to Hiram Welburn Stutts after his wife Alice passed away. Hiram had 11 children with his wife Alice; giving Cinderella 11 stepchildren, which were likely adults by the time of their marriage. Mr. Stutts preceded her in death in 1959. He is buried with his wife Alice at Petree Cemetery in Walker County, Texas.

By all accounts Cinderella was always in a dress, no one ever saw her in pants to my knowledge. Barely over 4.5 Feet tall she was known to be a tough cookie. She chewed her Levi Garrett snuff in the brown bottle most of her adult life. Visiting her grave periodically you will likely find an old brown vintage snuff bottle sitting on her headstone with a flower or two in it.

Mrs. Cinderella Plaster Stutts died on June 15, 1975 in Harris County, Texas at the age of 95.

She is buried by her daughter Pearl, Myrtle, Annie and many other family members.
