Services have been set for Monday at 3 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church for Jack B. Knight. The Rev. Rex Mauldin, pastor of the San Jacinto United Methodist Church in Amarillo, and Lyman Wood, pastor, will officiate.

Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery, under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Knight died at 2:35 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo. He was 64 years of age.

Mr. Knight, a longtime resident, had lived here since 1926.

He and his father were the founders of the Knight Lumber Co. He also helped develop the Knightcrest and College Park additions.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a current member of the Zoning board of adjustment. He had previous served on the city board of development and tax equalization board.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; a son, Bob of Borger; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Zollars, Rodney McDaniels, Roy Gurley, Robert Wilson, David Thompson, Ken D. White, Scotty Pullen, and Dave Warren.

Honarary pallbearers will be Charles McCallum, Charles Cuthbertson, Harold Bishop, Roy Howard, Dr. Boyd Stephens, Joe Houck and employees of Knight Lumber Co.

Virginia E. Knight, 73, of Borger, died at 11 a.m. Monday at her home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Borger with the Rev. Lyman Paul Wood, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. Paul Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Borger, assisting. Burial will be Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A housewife, she was a native of Paragould, Ark., and a Borger resident since 1931.

Survivors include a son, Bob Knight of Borger; one sister, Clarice Copeland of Borger; a brother, J.W. Thompson of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren, Marcy Knight and Brad Knight.
