Lona Jane Langley, 97, Borger, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 1996 in North Plains Care Center in Borger.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

A native of Conway, Ark., she had been a Borger resident for 45 years. She was a housewife and member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester L. Langley in 1994 and two sons, Norman Langley in 1939 and A.W. "Frip" Langley in 1966.

Survivors include four sons, W.M. "Lefty" Langley of Amarillo; the Rev. Lawrence Langley of Spiro, Okla.; Bill Langley of San Antonio; and Lester Dan Langley of Athens, Ga.; two daughters, LaVelle Moore of Borger; and Elizabeth Johnson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Nena Bridge of Oxnard, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 42 great-great-grandchildren.

Casketbearers were Jim Webb, Jasper Mitchell, Paul Thomas, and Coy Stegall.
