BORGER - Funeral services for Joseph Henry Lawrence, 88, were scheduled at 2:30 p.m. today in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Jack Orbison, minister of the Second and Deahl Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Lawrence a retired carpenter, died at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday in North Plains Hospital. He had lived in Borger 34 years.

Surviving are his wife, Delia; three daughters, Mrs. Mae Mauk, Mrs. Leona White and Mrs. Beatrice Pryor of Borger; two sons, Wesley Lawrence of Canton; and Grady Lawrence of Borger; 22 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.

BORGER - Funeral services were scheduled at 2:30 p.m. today in the Minton Memorial Chapel here for Mrs. Delia Lawrence, 91, of 708 Whittenburg.

The Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church was to officiate. Burial was to be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Lawrence died Saturday morning in the Magic Plains Nursing Home here.

A Borger resident for 41 years, she was a member of the Gardner Street Church of Christ where she was active until she became ill.

Her husband, Joseph H., died in 1964.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mae Mauk of 1800 Orange in Amarillo and Mrs. Leona White and Mrs. Beatrice Pryor, both of Borger; two sons, Grady of Borger and Wesley of Canton; a brother, J.C. Ausburne of Terrell and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
