Lola Faye Briggs, age 77 of New Boston, Texas passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Briggs was born January 24, 1938 in Arden, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and member of Rock Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Thomas G. Briggs of New Boston, Texas, one son and daughter in law, Thomas D. and Tonya Briggs of New Boston, Texas, one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Chris and Destiny Briggs of Nash, Texas, one grand daughter and grandson-in-law, Cheyenne and Wesley Betts of Naples, Texas and three great grandchildren, Justice, Rylee and Emersyn.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in the Bates Rolf Chapel, New Boston with Dr. Ken Whitten and Bro. Jimmy Conn officiating.
Interment will be in New Boston Cemetery, New Boston.
