James Robert "Bob" Lusk, 52, Borger, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1994 in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with Mr. Sam Sidders, minister of Johnson Park Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

He was born in Borger and had been a lifetime resident. He was a truck driver, and member of Johnson Park Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He married Fern Sechrist July 29, 1961 in Borger.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Turner Lusk.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Frank Edward Lusk, James Robert Lusk, II, and Danny Ray Lusk, all of Borger; a brother, Tommy Gene Lusk of Borger; five sisters, Cheryl Thompson of Halstead, Kan.; Ruth Arnold of Borger; Mary Kurr of Newton, Kans.; Lida Whitehead of Texroy Camp; and Joy Anita Mayhan of Newton, Kans.; his parents, Anita and Cliff Hall of Borger; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gib Isbell, Richard Bridges, Vernon Nonken, Frank Lusk, Jim Lusk, and Gene Hawley.

Walla Fern Lusk, 76, died June 10, 2018 in Borger. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Denny Sneed, Minister officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Fern was born April 24, 1942 in Oklahoma City to Alfred Edward Sechrist and Louise Pitchford Sechrist. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger and a longtime resident of Borger. She married James Robert "Bob" Lusk July 29, 1961 at the Church of Christ in Bunavista. She loved to work word puzzles, music and the Piano. Fern loved, most of all, to play with her grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob and her son Frank Edward Lusk.

Fern is survived by her two sons Danny Ray Lusk and his wife Karen of Borger and James R. Lusk II and his wife Teresa of Houston, six grandchildren Max Lusk, Kelly Michelle Lytton, Jennifer Renee Arnold, Christopher Michael Lusk, James David Lusk and Tanner Lusk and six great grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Max Lusk, Kyle Alders, Gene Lusk, Rex Lusk, Willie Lytton and Shane Arnold.
