Henry D. (Hank) JONES, aged 67 of Follett, died Monday at Ochiltree General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Follett Chapel. M. D. Melvin, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery, Follett, under the direction of the Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Shattuck.
Mr. JONES was born on Jan. 27, 1917 in Guymon, the son of George and Nettie JONES. He spent his early years in Kansas and then moved to Follett as a teenager. He moved to south-central Kansas and on Dec. 31, 19 65 was married to Ella VALDIVIESO, at Waynoka, Okla. They moved to Follett in 1966. He was employed as a ranch hand.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Carl JONES of Sharon, Kans.; three daughters, Betty RALPH of Lebanon, Ky., Helen LITTLE of Atica, Kans., and Dorothy WILLIAMS of Wichita, Kans.; four step-sons, Bernard LONG of Wichita, Frank LONG of Texas, Bill GARGER of Colorado Springs, and John VALDIVIESO of Greely, Colo.; a step-daughter, Mary Ann CARTER of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers; six sisters; and 16 grandchildren.
