BORGER - Rito Maldonado, 79, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, in Lubbock.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Highland Park Cemetery with Deacon Zeferino Jimenez officiating.

Mr. Maldonado was born April 10, 1926, in Mercedes. He married Ramona Espinosa on Oct. 27, 1971, in Dumas.

Survivors include three sons, Ray Luna and Ruben Luna, both of Fritch, and Frank Siller of Borger; four daughters, Lisa Davis and Brandi Lewis, both of Borger, Stella Garza and Ninfa Perez, both of Weslaco; a sister, Chana Somora of McAllen; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

BORGER - Ramona Maldonado, 70, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003.

Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with Monsignor Norbert Kuehler, of St. John's Catholic Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Maldonado was a care giver. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rito; her mother, Rosia Guarado of San Antonio; three sons, Ray Luna and Reben Luna, both of Fritch, and Frank Siller of Borger; four daughters, Brandi Lewis and Lisa Davis, both of Borger, Stella Garza and Ninfa Perez, both of Weslaco; two brothers, John Espinosa of Plainview and Manual Espinosa of Ralls; 11 sisters, Cathy Russell of Dumas, Olga Lopez and Gloria Garza, both of Austin, Angelica Espinosa of Michigan, Flora Alvillar of Hobbs, N.M., Carman Grimaldo of Florida, Rosa Flores and Alicia Shreves, both of San Antonio, Juanita Hinojosh of Paducah, and Teresa Espinosa and Janie Espinosa; 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to St. John's Catholic Church, 201 St. John's Road, Borger, TX 79007.
