Services for George M. Martin, 72, of 120 E. First St., will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Alexander-Simpson Funeral Directors.

Martin, a 20-year resident of Borger, died Saturday. He was a retired bricklayer.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; two daughters, Mrs. Ella Terrell of Ashdown, Ark. and Mrs. Marilee Netherland of Delhi, La.; one stepson, Roskoe King of Borger; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Gladys Ligon of Lubbock; two brothers, Walter of Borger and Roy of Minden, La.; one sister, Mrs. Floy Henry of Borger; and several grandchildren.

Edna J. Martin, 78, of 120 E. First St. died Monday.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel.

The Rev. Leonard Forsythe of the Bible Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Martin had been a resident of Borger for 38 years. She was born in Tennessee.

She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Mrs. Martin was a Baptist and a housewife.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Ligon of Lubbock; a son, Roskoe King of Borger; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ella Mae Terrill of Ashdown, Ark., and Mrs. Mary Lee Netherland of Delhi, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Daniels and Mrs. Margie Bush, both of Gainesville; a brother, Leonard Jones of Gainesville; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family will be staying at 1708 Yows St.
