Miss Essie Schuessler was born on January 4, 1897 in Lafayette, Chambers County, Alabama to Thomas H. Schuessler and Bernice Andrews.
She married Chase Prescott Kirkpatrick in 1918 in Knoxville, Tennessee. They had a daughter, Fannie, from this union.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick died on August 17, 1996 in Smith County, Texas.
