Funeral services for James H. McClendon, 76, of 215 W. Coolidge, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, with Dr. Gary Miller, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
He died Saturday in Borger Nursing Center.
A native of Johnson County, Okla., he had been a Borger resident for 21 years. He was a retired cement contractor, and member of First Baptist Church.
He married Lillian Marburger in 1972 in Borger.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one brother, Homer McClendon of Red Bluff, Calif.; two sisters, Velma Fosnocht of Fountain Valley, Calif.; and Jean Circo of Sacremento [sic], Calif.; a niece, Ila Mae Kibler of Amarillo.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
