Funeral services for Edward Miles, 78, 913 Hackberry, Borger resident here 38 years, are to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Wayne Burn, Grace Bible Church, officiating.
Last rites will be conducted from South Side Baptist Church, where he was a member. Interment in Highland Park Cemetery will be under direction of Minton Mortuary.
Miles was born in Arkadelphia, Ark., Sept. 7, 1885. He died at his home at 10:45 p.m. Saturday.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Miles, Geary, Okla., Mrs. Ethel Miles, Borger, Mrs. Agnes Crider, Cordell, Okla.; two sons, I.D. Miles, Borger, Buck Ward of San Antonio; a sister, Mrs. Carmen White, Amarillo; two brothers, I.W. Miles, Geary, Okla., and F.O. Miles, Borger; 26 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Gary Horton, Glen Ward, Don Chambless, Teddy Phillips, Tommy Crider and Dennis Miles.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Miles, 86, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Southside Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Burt officiating.
Mrs. Miles, a resident of Borger for 36 years, died Friday at 7:05 p.m. in North Plains Hospital. A member of the Southside Baptist Church, she resided at 913 Hackberry.
Survivors include the husband, Ed of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Miles and Mrs. Ethel Miles, both of Geary, Okla., Mrs. Agnes Crider of Cordell Oklahoma., two sons, Buck Ward of Antonio and I. D. Miles of Houston; 26 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
