Funeral services for Frank Jack Schaffer, 76, of 103 Warner, were at 2 p.m. today in Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains with the rev. Orel Speed, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment in Highland Park Cemetery was under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Schaffer died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital. He had been a resident of this area for 31 years.

He was a retired oil field worker and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers No. 819.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Anton of El Paso, Frank H. of Tuscola, Ill., and Moody of Amarillo; one sister, Mrs. Anna Schuster of Mexia; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jack Arnall, Dick Arnold, Ralph Srygley, Deane Friend, Windy Bethel, and Freddie Ray.

Dorothy Schaffer Morgan, 78, of Amarillo died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Riverview Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Morgan was a housewife. She was a native of Mexia and a longtime Borger and Amarillo resident.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank J. Schaffer, in 1976; and her second husband, James Morgan, in 1993.

Survivors include three sons, Frank H. Schaffer of Arlington, Moody Schaffer of Amarillo and Anton Schaffer of Fort Worth; two daughters, Alice Haeven of Amarillo and Peggy Pringle of Bethany, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
