Mrs. Bessie Mae Morris, 76, former Borger and Sunray resident, died Monday at Plains, Texas, where she had been living with her son. Graveside rites were conducted at 2:30 p.m. today at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. O. Mayo, pastor of the East Side Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was under the direction of Minton Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Homer Johns, Borger, and Mrs. J.C. Sims, Plains; two sons, J.O. Morris, Texaco, New Mexico; and Clay Morris, Plains; her mother, Mrs. Irene Ohaver, Baird; two sisters, Mrs. C.M. Sanders, Anton, and Mrs. W.R. Shuffield, Commanche; six brothers, J.S. Ohaver, Baird; J.H. Ohaver, J.F. Ohaver and R.G. Ohaver, all of California; W.H. Ohaver, Portales, New Mexico; and T.J. Ohaver of Big Springs; and ten grandchildren.
