Funeral services for pioneer Fred Mullins, 70, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday from Minton Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Hugh Blaylock, Wesley Methodist Church pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery directed by Minton Mortuary.
Casketbearers are Marvin Madden, D.L. Darden, Rod Weddington, Herb Haley, Ernie Keys and Coy Barnett.
Mullins died Thursday at Magic Plains Nursing Home. He was retired driller coming to Borger in 1933.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ella Hester, Lajunta, Col., Mrs. Tiny Montgomery, Casey, Ill., Mrs. Clara Beulieu, Tulsa, Okla.; three nieces, Miss Violet Mullins, Nowata, Okla., Mrs. Frank Malik, Robstown, Tex., Mrs. David Rizor, Shidler, Okla.

Services for Mrs. Fred Mullin, 62, are planned at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Wesley Methodist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. O.A. McBrayer, officiating.
Mrs. Mullin, a resident of Borger for the past 27 years, died about noon Wednesday at North Plains Hospital following a heart attack. She is survived by her husband of the home, 401 W. Wilson. Mrs. Mullin was a member of the Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery, under the direction of the Minton Funeral Home. Casketbearers will be R.E. Haynes, Weldon Haynes, Earnie Keys, Glen Kenney, C.R. Strothers and Erwin Tooley.
