Obituary:
Lola Neta (Herron) Kliewer was born on December 7, 1917, to Charlie Will and Katie (Allen) Herron at their family farm twelve miles southwest of Follett, Texas. She departed this life on March 2, 2014, in Perryton at the age of 96.

Lola went to the Cope Country School and Follett High School where she graduated in 1935. She was married to Edward Kliewer at Arnett, Oklahoma on May 30, 1936. To this union, Bonnie was born on January 6, 1941, in Shattuck, Oklahoma, and Randy on October 11, 1950 in Perryton.

Lola was a housewife and loving mother. She worked at the Follett Food Mart until her 1984 retirement. She was a faithful member of the Follett Baptist Church, active in the WMU and teaching Sunday School.

She enjoyed going to the mountains-with her family for fishing and sightseeing. She loved to crochet quilts and work in the garden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, on June 6, 1977, her parents, brother C.W. (Dub) Herron, sisters Mayrene Deeds, Mamie Ann Baldwin and infant sister Iva.

Survivors include Bonnie Shearer, her husband Otis, of Booker; son Randy of Follett; three grandchildren (Claudia Bradford and husband Brett of Jenks, Oklahoma, Cathy Tufts and husband Bryan of Richmond, Texas, and Kip Kliewer and wife Krystal of Red Oak, Texas; ten great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Abby, Natalie, Walker and Isabelle Bradford; Johnathan and Nathan Tufts; and Austin and Ace Kliewer; and two sisters-in-law: Juanita Herron of Beaver and Josephine Peil of Follett.
