Nadine Ellen Owens, 80, of Borger, died Friday, September 5, 1997, in Baptist/St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 1997, at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Eastlawn Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Quail, she had been a Borger resident since 1943, moving here from Granite, Okla.
She was a bookkeeper for Owens Garage and a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Mrs. Owens married Ray Owens on August 11, 1946, in Clayton, N.M.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Owens of the home; a son, Wayne Owens of Seattle, Wash.; four daughters, Delores Harrell of Borger, Claranell Turner of Clam Gulch, Ala., Hellen Griffin of Dallas and Linda Isbell of Amarillo; a brother, Junior Key of Loveland, Colo.; three sisters, Elene Ash of Canyon, Peggy Moss of Weatherford and Trula Mae Bennett of Borger; 19 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
