Huber [sic] Palmer, 76, 315 N. Harvey, died at 12:58 p.m. Saturday, December 14, in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A truck driver for Texas Sulphur Products, he was a native of Wymer, Texas, and a Borger resident since 1943.
He was a member of the Gardner Street Church of Christ. He married Mary Hulce on December 21, 1935 in Colorado City, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Palmer of the home; two sons, Coyt Palmer of Amarillo, Troy Palmer of Odessa; three daughters, Julia Fortune of Borger, Mona Dees of Mountain Home, Ark., Mary Shelton of Amarillo; two brothers, Sam K. Palmer of Granola Hills, Calif., Melburn Palmer of Colorado City; a sister, Kathleen Palmer of Abilene; 11 grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gardner Street Church of Christ, with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
