*Obituary
Funeral services for Henry Preston Parkhurst, 74, of 209 Brain, are at 10 a.m. Monday from Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating.
Burial in Highland Park Cemetery will be directed by Simpson Funeral Home.
Parkhurst died at 4:45 p.m. Friday in North Plains Hospital. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Born in Siloam Springs, Ark., Parkhurst came here from Coffeeville, Kan., in 1935 and had been a resident since then. He was a construction worker until retirement in 1962.
Surviving are his wife, Grace; three sons, Clifford of Stinnett, Ernest of 804 Dixon, George of 416 Lee, four brothers, Thomas L. of Commerce, Okla., George W. of Seminole, Okla., Jess J. of Bristow, Okla., and John C. of Lubbock.
Also two sisters, Mrs. Julia Johnson and Mrs. Rena Owens, both of Tulsa; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Casketbearers are Horace Landers, R. O. Gregg, Jack Galaway, Bob Dawkins, F. D. Beadle, and R. H. Gibbons.
