A longtime former Borger resident, Ellen M. Perry, 90, died Wednesday, May 5, in Albany.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Perry was born in Enid, Okla., and was a former Borger resident. She married Phinis Eldon Perry on June 29, 1930, in Breckenridge. She was an AT&T telephone operator for 15 years, working part of that time as an overseas operator in World War II. She and her husband owned and operated Perry Sign Company in Borger for many years. She was a Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, P.E., in July 1981.

Survivors include three nephews, Murray Ferguson, of New Braunfels; Don Ferguson, of San Antonio, and Don Chase of The Colony, and one niece, Alma Ellen Godfrey-Neese, of Albany.
