Phyllis Eileen Pfister, 89, of Fritch died Saturday, June 8th in Borger.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday, June 10th at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, Pastor of Bible Baptist officiating. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Phyllis was born June 17, 1923, in Coffeeville, KS to Henry and Sue Rodenbeck. She married Noel James Newberry and he preceded her in death in 1976. She later married Raymond Pfister who also preceded her in death in 1980.

She was a active member of St. John's Catholic Church in Borger and was a retired Postmaster with the United States Postal Service.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents: two husbands: sister Wilma Scott and her daughter Jeanette Wright.

She is survived by her son James Dale Newberry of Ashville, NC: son- in- Troy Wayne Wright of Fritch. Grandsons Michael Wright of Fritch and Joshua Newberry of Asheville. Great grandson Brayden Wright of Fritch.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. John's Catholic Church, Autism Speaks or favorite charity.
