Sylvia Dean Swope was born on May 17, 1925 in South Houston, Harris County, Texas to Lee Roy Swope and Anna Mae Callihan.
She is the big sister to Lee Roy Swope Jr. (1931-2006).
Sylvia married Herman Edgar Briggs in 1947. Her husband preceded her in death by 12 years.
Mrs. Briggs died on July 14, 2003 at the age of 78 in Harris County, Texas.
