BORGER - Funeral services for Kathy Ann Pierce, 13, who died Sunday night in North Plains Hospital as the result of asphyxiation, will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Nazarene.

The Rev. Amos Meador, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton Mortuary.

Kathy Ann was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pierce of 1318 Potter. She died about 7 p.m. Sunday about four hours after she was found in a closed and heated apartment.

Kathy, her aunt, Mrs. Lillian Rose Hendrix, 23, and Mrs. Hendrix's son, Martin Wayne Hendrix, 4, were found unconscious about 2:30 p.m. in the Hendrix apartment at 511 W. Maddox by Kathy's mother.

Mrs. Hendrix was listed in good condition early today at the hospital. Her son was released Monday.

Kathy is survived by her parents; brothers, Danny and Tony of the home, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Robertson of Borger and Mrs. Mildred Pierce of Forth Wroth.
