Mamie Lewis was born to Horace Lewis and Virginia Boyd in 1869 in San Jacinto County. She was twice married Jackson/Maxey, and was widowed at her time of death.
Mrs. Mamie Jackson Maxey died on June 3, 1955 in Dodge, Walker County, Texas at the age of 86.
