FRITCH — Nancy Christine "Chris" Purdy, 55, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger with the Rev. Justin Unwin, pastor of First Assembly of God Church in Fritch, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Chris was born Nov. 26, 1956, in Anadarko, Okla., and had lived in Fritch for the past 32 years. She owned and operated Chris' Kitchen in Fritch for the past 17 years. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie Miller and Geneva Byrd, and her brother, Johnny Davis.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald; a son, David Purdy and wife Amy of Borger; a daughter, Paula Garton and husband Brian of Fritch; her father, Ronald Byrd of Tecumseh, Okla.; two brothers, Tony Miller of Amarillo and Gene Davis of Washington; and four grandchildren, Alyssa Garton, Kaylor Garton, Abby Garton and Piper Purdy.
The body will be at the funeral home in Fritch.
