Funeral services for Ed A. Ralston, 71, of Oklahoma City, are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Friday from First Presbyterian Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Roy N. Byrd, pastor, will officiate.
Burial in Highland Park Cemetery will be directed by Ed Brown and Sons.
The retired Phillips Petroleum Company employee died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Borger home of his daughter, Mrs. Gale Alexander, 1510 Primrose. He had moved to 4400 Harvey Parkway, Oklahoma City, 12 years ago upon retirement. He was a former longtime area resident.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Alexander; brother, Frank J. Ralston of Denver; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Robertson of Hutchinson, Kans., Mrs. Nancy Butcher, Valparaiso, Ind., Mrs. Alma Bozeman and Mrs. Jewel Wilson, both of Tulsa; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Ed A. Ralston, 52, died this morning at 12:50 o'clock in the North Plains Hospital after an extended illness.
A resident of Phillips for 17 1/2 years, Mrs. Ralston was active in civic affairs. She was a member of the Borger First Presbyterian Church and active with the Music club and the 20th Century club.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Gale Alexander of Borger; a son, Edward H. of Alvin, Tex., three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. J. B. Mathews of Pharr, Tex.; Mrs. H. M. Miller of Southwest City, Mo., Mrs. Chester Haga of Pueblo, Colo., and Mrs. T. J. Murnane, of Los Angeles, and a brother, Hubert Alexander of Salina, Calif.
Services will be in the First Presbyterian Church of Borger Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. James G. Glenn officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Bob Bradshaw, Bob Lindsey, Fritz Thompson, Karl Klein, Olin Henderson and J.C. Cox. Honorary pallbearers include Bob Grimes, Fritz Ostrom, A.W. Harris, Felton Chappel, Lee Johnson, S.G. Meharg, Don Dilley, D.R. Holloman, W.H. Jenne and J.R. Kimmins.
Interment will be at the local cemetery.
