Borger News Herald - January 6, 1957
Funeral services for Mrs. J.L. Ramirez, 60, will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Mathey Schafle officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery, under the direction of Minton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ramirez, a resident of Borger since 1929, died Wednesday in a Houston hospital, where she had been ill for several weeks.
She is survived by her husband, of Borger; two sons, Lewis Ortega of Washington, D.C., and Jimmy Ramirez of Borger; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Kurtz of Denver, Colorado; and two brothers, Harry Aranda, of Gary, Indiana, and Vicente Aranda, of El Paso, Texas.
