FRITCH - Ben Reeves, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Reeves was a veteran of the Army. He was a retired stillman for Phillips Petroleum Co., where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of International Odd Fellows Lodge. He married Janice Hill on Jan. 2, 1938, in Muskogee, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Zane Reeves and wife, Carolyn, of Duncanville; two daughters, Sandra Shive and husband, Jon, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Sue Schuster and husband, Edmund, of La Verne, Calif.; a sister, Hettie Woods of Okmulgee, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Zane Reeves II, Christi Reeves, Kevin and Trish Shive, Jeff Shive, Stan Shive, Stephanie Schuster and Brett Schuster; and two great-grandchildren, Samuel Shive and Adele Shive.

The family suggests memorials be to First Southern Baptist Church, P.O. Box 358, Fritch, TX 79036.

FRITCH - Janice Reeves, 89, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Reeves was born Dec. 15, 1918, in Okmulgee, Okla., to Walter and Katie Marsey Hill. She married Ben A. Reeves on Jan. 2, 1938.

Survivors include a son, Zane Reeves of Duncanville; two daughters, Sandra Shive of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Sue Schuster of La Verne, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
