Edward Dalton "Friday" Reeves, 70, of 1300 Baker died Sunday at 1:40 p.m. at the Veterans Hospital in Amarillo.

Services are pending with Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Reeves had lived in the Borger area since 1926. He was born June 11, 1907 in Pritchett.

He was a retired welder and was a member of local union No. 196. Mr. Reeves was a navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He married Bessie McDonald Sept. 12, 1931 at Sayre, Okla.

Mr. Reeves is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Cheryl Ramby and Mrs. Joy Rountree, both of Borger; two brothers, W.R. Morgan of Houston and George Morgan of Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Imogene Coleman of Houston; and five grandchildren.
