M.L. Roby, 69, died at his residence, 807 Bartush, about midnight last night after a lingering illness.
A resident of Borger for the past 17 years, Roby is survived by five sons, Tony, Terry, Leslie and O.G., all of Borger, and Doil of Corpus Christi; two step-daughters, Mrs. Marie Roby of Borger and Mrs. Dessie Nix of Riverbank, Calif.; two step-sons, B.H. Hopkins of Ripland, Calif., and Leeola Adams of San Antonio.
Also two brothers, R.B. of Jackson, Tenn. and A.P. of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Mayfield of Memphis, Tenn. and Mrs. Elodie West of Madera, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are planned at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rock Creek Baptist Mission with the pastor, the Rev. Lee Hilton, officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Park cemetery with Ed Brown, Funeral Director, in charge.

Services for Mrs. Maudie Lou Roby, 64, were planned at 2 p.m. today in the Assembly of God Church, with interment in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Roby, a resident of this area for the past 16 years, died Saturday in Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo.
Survivors include the husband, of Modesto, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Roby of Borger and Mrs. Dessie Nix of Riverbank, Calif.; four step-sons, O. G. Terry and Leslie Roby, all of Borger, and Doil Roby of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. Susie Barrs of Dallas; and one half-sister, Mrs. Ada King of Amarillo.
Mrs. Roby also is survived by 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
Active casket bearers are Amos J. Spradlin, Dewey Sailers, John James, Clarence Clark, Doil Berry and Vernon Moody.
