Hubert Lee Sargent, 81, Borger, died at 8:35 p.m. Friday, July 7, 1995.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the rev. Mike Smith, pastor Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating, and W.H. Wigington assisting.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Greenville, he had been a Borger resident for 68 years. He was a retired welder, and member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

He married Opal Wigington Reagan on July 2, 1966 in Borger.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Donald Lee Sargent of Amarillo; two stepsons, Donny Reagan of Tucson, Ariz.; and Jimmy Reagan of Baton Rouge, La.; a daughter, Voncyle Wilson of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Lou Lattie of Sweeny; a brother, W.H. Sargent of Ancorage [sic], Alaska; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 300 S. McGee, Borger.

BORGER -- Opal Reagan Sargent, 86, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Sizemore, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

The eldest of five children, Opal was born to John and Grace Wigington on October 29, 1917, in Brady. She had been a resident of Borger for more than 50 years. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Jim Reagan and wife, Phyllis, of Austin; a daughter, Lou Lattie and husband, Larry, of Sweeney; a stepson, Don Sargent of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Von Wilson of Amarillo; a brother, Ray Wigington and wife, Betty, of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Health Care, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
