Mr. and Mrs. Claude Schwartz and his mother, Mrs. Kate Schwartz attended the funeral of their son and brother, Lewis Joseph Schwartz in Borger, Texas last week. They left Wednesday and returned Saturday night.
Mr. L.J. Schwartz died within minutes following a heart attack as he was arising on Saturday morning. He was 46 years old at the time of death. He owned a Dairy Queen Drive Inn at Borger.
His survivors include his wife, a son Marine Cpl. Louis Schwartz, 21, a daughter, Ruby Jane 19, his mother, Mrs. Kate Schwartz, his brother Claude, a sister, Mrs. Eugene Welborn of Lubbock, 4 aunts, an uncle and numerous cousins. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Caddo, Okla.
Services were held from the Calvary Baptist Church in Borger, with burial in the cemetery there.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby M. Schwartz, 71, of 329 Coble, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday from Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Orel Speed, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Schwartz died at 8 a.m. Wednesday while visiting her daughter in Madera, Calif.
She was a longtime resident of Borger and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, six grandchildren, and two uncles.
Casketbearers will be Claude Harrington, Arthur Hatcher, Buster Gipson, Kenneth Benton, Bob Benton, Jim Bishard.
