Funeral services for Albert L. Short, 46, 103-C Bunton Street, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church. Rev. James Glenn will officiate, assisted by Rev. Weldon Lewis, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church.

Short died around 6:15 p.m., Wednesday while working on a drilling rig near the Plemons bridge. Death was attributed to a heart attach. He was pronounced dead at the rig site.

He had a resident of Borger for the past 22 years and was employed by the Wallace Drilling Company.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. A.L. Short; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Short, Mobeetie; three sisters, Mrs. Jay Barber, Rapid City, South Dakota; Mrs. Alice Huxtable, Keenebec, South Dakota; Mrs. Mildred Cranney, Chamberlain, South Dakota; five brothers, H.D. Short, Mobeetie; Bob Short, Gage, Oklahoma; Jim Short, Pampa; Steven Short and Eugene Short, both of Canton, South Dakota.
