BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday for the Rev. Aldus Herr Shuman, 81, a former Borger resident. Services will be held in the Colonial Chapel of Neecamp Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Smith, pastor of the First United Methodist Church here, officiating.
Committal rites will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Joe D. Ray, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
Rev. Shuman lived in Borger from 1962 to 1969 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He moved to Bartlesville in 1969 and lived here until his death Saturday in local nursing home.
Rev. Shuman is survived by one son, James D. of Bartlesville; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Williams, Washington-Borough, Penn. and Mrs. Mary Gollatz, Lancaster, Penn; five grandsons and four great-grandsons.
