Henry Carr Wilkerson, 94, died Aug. 12, 2006 in Brownfield, Texas.
He was born Nov. 11, 1911 in Byrnside, W.V., to Henry H. and Delilah A. (Casdorph) Wilkerson. He graduated from Tucumcari High School in 1929. In the 1930s, he was an elder and preached at the Primitive Baptist Church.
He lived with his parents in Quay County until their deaths in 1957 and 1958. He then lived in Clovis and Tucumcari until moving to Brownfield in the 1970s.
Wilkerson was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James Wilkerson and his wife, Nell, and Craig W. Wilkerson and his first wife, Gertrude Ford Wilkerson.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Inez Wilkerson.
Ronnie Hedges of Brownfield Primitive Baptist Church officiated at services at Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Brownfield Funeral Home in Brownfield.
