Funeral services for James Wilburn [sic] Snelgrove will be at 2 p.m. today in the First Christian Church. Rev. Wilbur Mindel will officiate. Blackburn-Shaw will direct interment in the Highland Park cemetery.
Mr. Snelgrove, 71, was born in Benton, Arkansas, June 17, 1874. He had been a resident of Borger for 18 years and is survived by his widow and four daughters, Mrs. Roy Smart, Dumas, Texas; Mrs. A.J. Southern, Mingus, Texas; Mrs. W.M. Abbott, Hobbs, New Mexico; and Mrs. Anna Hull, Borger.
The casket bearers will be: Max Mitchell, E.D. Munday, Ed Cartwright, W.W. Gaither, Walter Toews, Jack McBride and Jimmy Mitchell.

Final rites for Mrs. Cora Hull Snelgrove, 82, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Borger First Christian church.
Mrs. Snelgrove, who has been a resident of the Tri-City area since 1927, died Sunday morning in Midland, where she was visiting. In Borger she made her home with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Anna Hull of 402 West Adams.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Roy Smart of Cactus, Mrs. Jimmy Southern of Mingus, and Mrs. C.H. Hamilton of Midland; five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
The Rev. Richard Clayborne, pastor of the First Christian church, will officiate at the services. Interment will be at the local cemetery.
