Borger News Herald - August 14, 1989
Nina Pearl Speegle, 92, Borger, died Saturday in Coronado Community Hospital in Pampa.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating.
A native of Mud Creek, Okla., she had been a Borger resident for 51 years. She was a homemaker, and member of the Bible Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Walter Speegle, Aug. 10, 1989.
Survivors include three sons, J.G. Speegle of Pampa; August Speegle of Borger; and Kenneth Speegle of Stinnett; four daughters, Mintie Gipson, Dorothy Tate, and Chris McCarty, all of Borger; Paulene Danner of Fort Worth; two brothers, Jack Wigham of Merced, Calif.; and Reed Wigham of San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Ruby Harmon of Panhandle; Jewell Sickles of Borger; and Georgia Belle McFarland of Austin; 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Elijah Tate, Rodney Speegle, Raymond Alonzo, Carl Smith and Jackie Webb.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
