WINNSBORO - Funeral services for Burl Jones Spradlin, 72, will be at 12 noon Friday at the First Baptist Church in Winnsboro with the Rev. C.N. Rue and Earl Duggins officiating.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger with the Rev. C.N. Rue officiatinmg [sic].

Burial will be by Beaty Funeral Directors of Winnesboro [sic].

Mr. Spradlin died Thursday, July 14, 1994 in his home.

He was born April 27, 1922 in Duke, Okla., and was a former Borger resident. He was an electrician for Phillips Petroleum Company for 20 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winnsboro. He was a Mason and member of Eastern Star No. 65 in Pampa; the Amarillo Chapter No. 196 R.A.M., Amarillo Council No. 134, R.E.S.M., and Isom Lodge No. 1242, Borger.

Srvivors [sic] include his wife, Mary Jean; a son, William Mark Spradlin of Carlsbad, N.M.; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Cochran of Ennis; and Kathryn Beryl Willingham of Oklahoma City, Okla.; five sisters; two brothers; and five grandchildren.

TYLER - Mary Jean Spradlin, 72, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997 in Waxahachie.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the First Baptist Church in Winnsboro with the Rev. C.N. Rue, the Rev. Ed Spivey and the Rev. Earl Duggins, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger.

A native of Altus, Okla., she was a former Pampa resident.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winnsboro. She was a retired insurance agent with American Life and Casualty Company.

Mrs. Spradlin was a member of Pampa Chapter 65 of the Eastern Star, WMU director for 20 years and a Sunday School teacher for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, B.J. Spradlin, parents, brothers, Rhea Allen, Raymond and Charles Ray Coppedge and two sisters, Allyne Frances and Mildred Elizabeth Loyd.

Survivors include a son, William Mark Spradlin of Guthrie; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Cochran of Ennis and Kathryn Beryl Willingham of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Patsy Ruth Orr of Winnsboro; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers in Winnsboro will be Mark Spradlin, David Cochran, John Cochran, Jeremy Cochran, Kerry Willingham, James Baser, Sammy Bell and O.M. Rhea.

Casket bearers in Borger will be Mark Spradlin, David Cochran, John Cochran, Jenny Cochran, Jeremy Cochran, Kerry Willingham, Kelli Willingham and Kristi Willingham.
