G.F. Spradlin, 57, long-time Borger resident, died in North Plains hospital at 11 a.m. October 5th. His death followed a heart attack one-half hour earlier in his home.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. G.F. Spradlin; Mrs. Phylis Jones, Borger, a daughter; and two sons, Don of Pampa and Dorsey of Phillips.
Spradlin was a member of the Phillips Baptist church.
Funeral services are arranged at 4:00 p.m., October 7, at the Phillips Baptist Church. Minton's Funeral Home directing.

AMARILLO - Ida Pearl Spradlin, 101, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1997 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, in Highland Park Cemetery of Borger with the Rev. Jeff Raines of the First Baptist Church of Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell Avenue Chapel of Amarillo.
Mrs. Spradlin was born in Indian Nation Territory in Oklahoma. She moved to Amarillo in 1971. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
She married Frank Spradlin on Dec. 13, 1912 in Antlers, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1949. She is also preceded in death by three sons.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Jones; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Ware Memorial Care Canter, 400 West 14th, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
