Moises Garcia was born on December 17, 1903, in Texas, the son of Mariana and Victorio. He married Candelaria Castillo Garcia on October 9, 1926, in Bastrop, Texas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on March 20, 2001, in Brownfield, Texas, at the age of 97, and was buried there.
