Mother of Helen McCarthy
Mrs. Martha Tillery Strange, 80, of 704 N. Cedar, area resident for 55 years, died at 8 a.m. Thursday in North Plains Hospital.
Services for Mrs. Strange are pending with Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
A housewife, she was a native of Wewoka, Okla.
She was a member of the Gardner Street Church of Christ.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Helen McCarthy of Borger and Mrs. Dorothy Davis of Douglas, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Letha Eddny of Seminole, Okla.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James in June 1956.

Services for Mrs. Martha Strange, 80, of 704 N. Cedar, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains.
Officiating will be Mr. Darnell Boyd, pastor of the Gardner Street Church of Christ. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Strange died at 8 a.m. Thursday in North Plains Hospital.
